Mr.Charles Kakoma Changano was born on 3rd May, 1961 in Mongu district of Western Province. Started his primary school at Mombo in the now called Limulunga district of western province. He completed his secondary school at Kaoma in 1982. He then started work as a police man in 1984 and upon completion of the training in 1985 he served in many departments. In 1992 he trained as a public prosecutor at National Institute of Public Administration [NIPA] he was among the first trained in the advanced prosecutors course at Zambia institute of Advanced Legal Education [ZIALE]. As a public prosecutor he served in other Government departments such as the Drug Enforcement Commission under secondment from 1995 to 2011 where he specialised in drug and money laundering cases which saw him being sponsored by the United Nations in 2007 to the National Prosecution Authority of South Africa in Pretoria for three Months to specialise also in asset forfeiture.

Charles is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws [LLB] from the University of Zambia. He lectured at Cavindesh , Liutiben, Ridge Way Campus Universities and National institute of Public Administration specializing in Criminal law, evidence and criminal procedure. He have been a public prosecutor at the Zambia Revenue Authority.

For those who are interested to have their cases prosecuted privately without the engagement of the Law enforcement agencies are welcome as he has been a public prosecutor for more than two decades and he is the only Zambian Public prosecutor who has served for many years unless otherwise.
